VENUE
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Tuesday through Thursday 5:30pm-10pm and Friday-Saturday 12pm-12am. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

What are your office hours?
To make a reservation or if you have any questions, we are available by phone or in person from Monday through Saturday, 10am-10pm.
Where are you located?
We are located at the heart of Columbus, right of 161 at 6124 Busch Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43229, across from The Continent French Quarter and inside Stars Indoor Sports. A 10-minute car ride from Worthington, Westerville, and Polaris!

- From I-71:
- Head West on Dublin-Granville Rd (SR-161) towards Busch Blvd.
- Turn Right on Busch Blvd. and proceed North
- Turn Right at the front entrance to The Continent (Don’t worry, there’s a large sign you can’t miss!)
- Turn Left at the stop sign, then Right at the following stop sign (next to the movie theater)
- Proceed through the parking lot to the service road and the facility is the red building on the right. A reminder that we are located within Stars Indoor Sports.
From OH-23:
- Head East on Dublin-Granville Rd. ( SR-161) towards Busch Blvd.
- Turn Left on Busch Blvd. and proceed North

Is there parking?
There is plenty of free parking on site. Occasionally, the facility has an event, but with over 2,000 parking spots in The Continent within a 4-minute walk, you’ll never have to park too far away.
Do you allow walk-ins?
Absolutely! Please keep in mind that walk-ins are subject to availability and we always recommend booking in advance just to be safe. To book online, visit www.capitalaxethrowing.com/book-now
Can I rent the entire venue?
Absolutely! Our venue holds up to 80 people. Please give us a call at (614) 987-6125 or email Info@CapitalAxeThrowing.com for more information or large group bookings.
Can I sign up for a league?
We do not offer leagues at this time.
Can I bring my younger child(ren) with me, even if they are not participating?
Only children 13 years old or older are allowed into the axe-throwing room. No exceptions.
How many people can fit in a lane?
Each area has two lanes, and a group of 20 can fit comfortably into each area with 10 people per lane.
How many people can fit in the room?
Our axe-throwing venue can host 80 throwers comfortably.
Do you have a room or space for us to have a meeting while we eat during our event?
Normally all food is served buffet-style in the room during your event. Please call us at (614) 987-6125 if you need to arrange an alternative option for your group.
THE EXPERIENCE
Is axe throwing safe?
Yes! We have an experienced employee guiding and supervising the entire experience to ensure your safety. We also ask that you kindly review and sign our waiver prior to starting the experience.
Can people come to watch the group throw without participating?
Yes, if part of your group does not wish to throw, they can come and watch without participating. They will still need to sign a waiver even as a visitor.
I’m not participating, do I still have to sign a waiver?
As part of our safety protocols, we kindly ask that all visitors sign a waiver, regardless of participation.
What should I wear?
We kindly ask that you wear closed-toed shoes, but other than that, dress as you like! Have fun and enjoy.
Is there an age limit?
Due to the adult atmosphere, you must be 13 years or older, with a parent or guardian, to participate. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted, regardless of participation.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your reservation to allow enough time to complete check-in.
What is the difference between the full 90-minute axe throw and the 60-minute axe throw?
In both experiences, you will learn how to safely throw from our experienced coaches. During the 60-minute axe throw, you will spend an hour practicing your new skills. The full 90-minute axe throw is the ultimate experience where you will compete in a series of casino-themed games for the High Roller title!
Can we reserve a 60-minute axe throw on the weekend?
Absolutely! Both the 60-minute and 90-minute experiences are available to book on the weekend.
Can we throw for longer than 90 minutes?
Absolutely! We can add as much time to your event as your group requests for an additional charge, subject to availability.
Do you have to have a coach for the full 90-minute axe throw?
If you would like to throw without a coach, you can opt-out once the coach has gone over throwing techniques and safety rules.
Will my booking be paired up with other people?
No, your group will have your own lane. There may be a group in the lane next to you.
Should I bring cash?
If you enjoyed your experience (and we know you will!), our staff members greatly appreciate tips. You can add a gratuity before, during, or after your reservation either with cash or a credit card. We will never ask you to CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, or send a tip to an axe-throwing coach’s personal accounts.
Can we bring our own axes or throwing knives?
No, we provide you with our axes, and no outside weaponry is allowed.
Do you have more than one size axe?
No, all of our axes are the same size.
MAKING A RESERVATION
How can I make a reservation?
You can reserve online here. Payment is required to guarantee a range.
How much does it cost?
Our 60-minute axe throw is $30 per person and our full 90-minute axe throw is $40 per person. Large group discounts are available.
What type of payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, business checks, or credit cards. No personal checks will be accepted.
Can I pay at the door?
Yes, we accept payment at the door for walk-in bookings only, subject to availability. We always recommend booking in advance to guarantee your time.
Is there a group minimum to reserve?
Nobody wants to throw alone, so bring a friend or loved one! A minimum of four (4) participants is required to reserve a lane for the 90-minute Experience. Our 60-minute experience has a minimum of two (2) participants.
Is there a group maximum?
Our venue holds up to 80 people.
How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
We recommend making a reservation several weeks in advance, especially for the weekends. Spots fill up fast!

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
If you need to cancel, a full refund will be issued if your reservation is canceled more than 48 hours in advance of your original reservation. Any applicable refunds must be claimed by calling (614) 987-6125.
What if I need to re-schedule?
Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule your reservation by calling (614) 987-6125 or emailing Info@CapitalAxeThrowing.com.
What if we’re late to our reservation?
We run a tight schedule with time in between groups. If you are running late, we ask that you give us a call as a courtesy.
Can I bring more people than we reserved ahead of time?
We highly recommend having a final head count ahead of time. Additional people can be added and pay on-site, but additional range space is subject to availability.
FOOD AND DRINKS
Can we bring outside food and drinks?

We’re celebrating a birthday, can we bring a cake/cupcakes?

Are food and drinks available to purchase?
Yes, the facility has multiple alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as a variety of delicious food options on-site.
Can we bring outside catering?
As part of our No Outside Food and Drink policy, we do not allow outside catering. However, we have our catering options! Check out our catering options here.
