Axe Throwing Rules & Safety

We want everyone to have a fun, memorable, and safe experience throwing axes at Capital Axe Throwing. Please take a moment to review our policies and procedures below.

Is axe throwing safe? Yes, absolutely! You will have an experienced axe-throwing coach guiding and supervising the entire experience to ensure your safety

General Rules

Child holding axe, no children allowed

Age Restrictions

Participants must be 13 years or older, with a parent or guardian, to participate. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted, even if not participating

Note that if our staff has any reason to doubt the capabilities or willingness of an individual, whether adult or minor, to follow our safety rules, they will now allow them to throw an axe.

What to Wear

For safety, all participants are required to wear close-toed shoes when throwing axes.

There are no other clothing restrictions, but we recommend comfortable, loose-fitting tops as you will be moving your upper body.

Waivers

All participants must have a fully completed waiver to throw. As part of our safety protocols, we kindly ask that every visitor, regardless of participation, still sign a waiver.

Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver for them.
